Managed ERP Operations
We run, monitor and back up the platform your ERP runs on, so accounting, warehouse and production never stop. Servers, databases, performance and security handled by SYSMAN.
Key benefits
ERP stops for an hour, the whole business stops with it
When the ERP is slow or broken, accounting cannot issue invoices, the warehouse cannot move stock, production has no orders. Most ERP incidents do not come from the software but from the platform underneath: overloaded servers, full disks, unmaintained databases, corrupted backups nobody noticed.
What SYSMAN takes on
The ERP platform: servers (on-premise, in our data centre or on cloud), operating system, database
Backup and recovery: scheduled backups, offsite copies, regular restore drills
Performance: resource tracking, database maintenance, preparation for peak periods like month-end close
Security: role-based access, VPN for remote access, patching
Coordination: working with your ERP software vendor when the fault is in the application, and following up until it is resolved
Boundaries of responsibility
SYSMAN operates the infrastructure and platform that the ERP runs on. ERP business logic, customisation and licensing remain with your ERP implementation partner; SYSMAN cooperates and follows up until the issue is resolved.
Who it fits
Manufacturing, distribution and trading businesses running ERP on their own or rented servers, that need continuous operations but do not have their own database and infrastructure administrators.
Frequently asked questions
Does SYSMAN implement ERP software itself?+
This service focuses on running the infrastructure, database and backups for ERP systems. For a new ERP project, SYSMAN advises on the right infrastructure and works alongside the software implementer you choose.
Can we move the ERP to cloud or a data centre?+
Yes. SYSMAN plans the migration, runs it in parallel for testing and switches over officially outside working hours to limit disruption.
How long are backups kept?+
According to the retention policy agreed in the contract, covering the number of daily and monthly backups and the offsite copy.
How do we know the backups actually work?+
SYSMAN runs regular restore drills on a test environment and records the results in the service report.
